At 35 I finally passed my test, after doing a couple of tests failing and then repeat every 4-5 years…got to give Mo a lot of the credit for succeeding on this cycle to end it all; articulate man who takes his job seriously but not patronising or impatient while teaching (had a lot of bad instructors in the past, so noticed the difference) ..helps to get driving test also if struggling to find a slot yourself…thanks alot Mo!

The task is to learn how to drive and be confident in doing so, and that is the the sole focus and goal of each lesson. He may be harsh at times, but it's with good intentions.

Passed my driving test on the first try with Mohammed as my instructor! Mohammed is an extremely thorough driving instructor and taught me easy tips and techniques for all the maneuvers and routes on the test, as well as how to be an all around safe driver. Coming from California I was nervous to drive in London, but Mohammed put me at ease and taught me to control my nerves when driving. His style of teaching is strict but effective and constructive as he makes sure you understand why you are driving in a certain way and when you’ve made an error. Would highly recommend him as a driving instructor to anyone looking to learn to drive automatic, international drivers or looking to pass their driving test.

Mohamed is a fantastic teacher - I was really nervous to try and learn to drive again but I'm glad to have finally done it. I passed first time! Mohamed has high standards, so be wary that you may actually be test ready before he says so (which isn't a bad thing!). There is a charge for hiring his car for the driving test, and be prepared to schedule in more lessons ahead of your test and get them booked in. General driving advice - I recommend you take your theory test before scheduling in any lessons. Then get your test booked ASAP, there's a major backlog for driving tests i.e. when I looked in June 23, I was only able to get a test Mar 24 so it meant I had to space out my lessons.

Happy to say I just passed first time with Mohammed after believing I’d never be able to drive! He’s a great teacher, extremely thorough and methodical. He prepares you for everything you could encounter in your test and really wants you to become the best driver you can be. Very grateful for his lessons.

He is very good teacher and has many many tips, tricks and techniques for making every part of driving (such as reverse parking manoeuvres etc.) easier. A good instructor - knows the roads well. I had a instructor before and he wasn’t giving me specific feedback and telling me how to deal properly with tricky situations but Mohammed was very clear with his advice and feedback every session.

I would recommend Mr Mo as I called him to friends and family anytime. Thank you Mr Mo pass the first time. I was browsing for an instructor and I came across The learner Centre and I read the reviews I wasn't so sure it was true but when I took these lessons I saw for myself. Mr Mo taught me everything in small print as they say. The pedestrians lights which intrigued me a lot as I thought all the lights were the same but definitely not and he was so patient, funny and strict at the same time. When he asked a question he'll crack your brain till you'll get the answervery persistent and that worked for me. Thank you Mr Mo keep up good work.

With all the additional training videos provided (filmed from his car, with real situations on the exam routes) I was able to familiarize myself better with the roads around my test center. Was nervous in the beginning but as time went on I got better and better Mohammed was a great instructor taught me very well and prepared me in advance for the test which I passed first time. Highly recommended.

After failing the test with the first instructor (after 50 hours of lessons and being confident that I could drive), I decided to change everything and met Mohammed. From the first lesson with him, I realized how much I was mistaken about the driving process itself, about how an instructor should teach and what I should expect from him, about what to think about and how to make decisions. I was especially impressed that the analysis of each road situation is very detailed (we can immediately watch the video from the cameras, we can simulate the situation in the application on the tablet and literally study everything on our fingers). Each questionable situation is repeated in detail, reproduced and trained. Mohammed does not teach mechanical skills, but lays a solid foundation in the head, on the basis of which fear and panic gradually disappear, because more and more often you KNOW how to act and react. Mohammed prepares not only for "a driving test", but for the release of a new person on the road and sincerely wants this person to behave reasonably. Nothing but 5 stars for Mo. An excellent teacher which in turn makes him an excellent driving instructor. After many instructors over the years ,who quite frankly just wanted to take my money and not get me to test standard i had enough. I turned to Mo for my last attempt to learn how to drive, Mo was different from the offset, he had a teacher style to him, reinforcing the need to understand why you are doing something, road markings and layouts, which no other instructor has bothered to do, he made everything clearer and boosted my confidence. I was also very nervous about roundabouts, Mo's technique made roundabouts my favourite part of driving. If you're looking for a good teacher who will make you a good driver. Mo's the man for the job!

First time pass!! I'll start with the short version: If you are after THE best instructor out there, look no further! You have found him! And if that didn't convince you...I will break it down: Mohammed is an absolute gem of a person and teacher! From the first enquiry call, he has always been professional and genuine! On our first introductory lesson, I explained that I was on a tight timeline and needed to ensure I passed my practical exam on the first attempt (no pressure!). I had already booked my practical test date and only had a few weeks to go! Mohammed took on the challenge and with his guidance, patience and excellent teaching skills we managed to achieve my goal! He always arrives on time, and will start with discussing the layout of the lesson at the beginning of each session and will recap and give you feedback at the end. His car is not only super comfortable, but always immaculate (inside and out), which honestly is just the cherry on top! Mohammed's teaching style is so well balanced. He will be strict when necessary, silent when he encourges you to think for yourself, and extremely funny and witty throughout. His calm demeanor makes you feel confident and comfortable and minimizes any stressful moments (which you are bound to feel at some point when learning how to drive!). After a few lessons, I found myself saying out loud his instructions whilst driving, as his advice was embedded in my mind! I loved that, as this was proof to me that "I've learnt the lesson!" The day of the exam came, and honestly Mohammed was a pillar of support and confidence when the nerves almost cracked me an hour before my practical test! But alas, as he said, by the time I was in the car with the examiner, it felt like a breeze! (With or without the aircon on 😉). I could not recommed him more!! I couldn't have done it without you and will come and pick you up from the airport in my car when you next visit Cyprus!

Firstly The best driving instructor in north London. I would like to thank Mohammed for helping me pass my driving first time !! Couldn’t of done it without him. I’ve had a few driver instructors that didn’t really work out but Mohammed was calm patience and understood what my problems were and we worked on them and got up to standard. Really happy with the lessons, passed my first time. Not only teaches you how to drive in general but also tailors his lesson to specifically meet requirements in the exam, without missing a detail. 100/10 would recommend! After shopping around for a new instructor in Summer 2021, I had a taster lesson with Mohammed, felt at ease with him so decided to secure him as my Driving Instructor (best decision ever!) I had a super fun (and very amusing, with lots of laughter!) time learning with Mo. Thanks to him, I passed first time after taking weekly lessons for about 5 months - Mo is very personable and has a great communication and teaching style. More importantly, he is patient, consistent, reliable and dedicated which I was so grateful for, especially as I was determined to pass first time - in light of the pandemic/lockdowns and it being so difficult to secure a test date in London! Over the moon with my driving experience learning with Mo and would always recommend him - I already look forward to doing my Pass Plus with him later this year!

I had other driving instructors before Mo when I lived out of London and I felt I wasn't making progress. When I started lessons with Mo, something clicked. Mo is a great communicator, a brilliant teacher and an all round good person with a really positive, relaxed, supportive and constructive attitude. I passed first time and I know it's because Mo made me feel at ease behind the wheel and made me believe in myself and build confidence as a driver. Mo is an elite-level driving instructor who has years of experience that shines through his calm and collected teaching style. He has taught many of the instructors in the area and so has a very deep understanding of the best practice and rules of the road. After 12 years and 8 failed tests, Mo was the only instructor who could help me overcome my sticking points and get me the pass. I am forever grateful to him for his efforts and instilling in me some much-needed confidence. I may never fulfill my dream of becoming an F1 driver, but at least I’ll be able to drop my kids off at school.  

From my first encounter with Mo I knew I had the right instructor. He was courteous and prompt in responding to my initial enquiries and subsequent messages. He made me feel at ease during my first lessons, (which was no mean feat), with his friendly, calm manner. He was unfailingly patient throughout my lessons with him. He answered all of my queries, pinpointed problematic areas, and took the time to explain things in a way I could understand or relate to, He was particularly helpful in dealing with my many anxieties about driving, encouraging me, but also knowing when I needed a bit of a push. It really helped to build my confidence in my ability to drive. He is very good at making you more relaxed, and l appreciated his sense of humour, I felt that he genuinely wants you to learn to drive well along with passing the test, and his lessons offer real value for money because of his experience and skill as an instructor If you’d asked me a couple of years ago if I would ever drive, I would have just looked horrified. I am pleased to have come a long way since then and have a great deal to thank mo for. He is a real professional at his job and I would recommend him to anyone looking to learn to drive.
